This is the first outing of the newly formed Civil Defence Living History Group 

 

There will be small displays about the work of the five sections of the Civil Defence Corps: Headquarters; Wardens: Welfare: Ambulance and Rescue plus the Women's Voluntary Service and the National Hospital Service Reserve will be making the 1950s village hall into an emergency rest centre.

 

Two Auxiliary Fire Service vehicles, including this "Green Goddess", and Civil Defence Corps ambulance will also be on show!
